Alteco strengthens with more Engineers

Today, David Bergbom starts as a mechanical engineer at our Kiruna office. David has worked as a designer at LKAB for many years, both as an employee and consultant. David, with his personality and expertise, is a welcome addition to our team.

What is your background and how did it lead to your current position?

For the past 9 years I have worked as a designer in the mining industry, an industry with a solid breadth of technical challenges and opportunities! I have had the privilege of working in close collaboration with knowledgeable and committed clients with everything from classic access routes and service plans to machine modifications and customized special machines. The step to Alteco System felt to me like a challenging continuation of an interesting working life. The stated goal of offering customers comprehensive solutions is inspiring.

What motivates you?

Tricky problems that require innovative thinking and creativity. Working to develop well-thought-out solutions to customer problems where both we and the customer feel like we are learning from each other is hard to beat.

What are the biggest challenges with your work?

Communication and planning - How can we best capture the different aspects of our clients' challenges - and solve them in the best way and at the right time?
