Oskar Ögren, a newly graduated mechanical engineer, is Alteco's latest addition to the workforce. During his time at university, Oskar has combined studies with internships in the automotive industry, which provides a good foundation to take with him into working life. Mechanical engineering is an area Oskar has been passionate about since childhood, and studying in the same subject therefore felt natural.

Oskar tells the following about his own background and why he chose Alteco - My big hobby has always been mechanical engineering. When I was 14, I built a 1.5 ton agricultural tractor. It has since been rebuilt in three iterations until today, when it has been completely rebuilt into a tracked tractor. Other projects have been a tracked vehicle like a Segway with tracks, a pulse jet engine, a wood conveyor and much more. Through Alteco, I can make a professional career out of my hobby at home in Norrbotten, and therefore Alteco is an obvious choice.

Isak Vikman, CEO, talks about the importance of coming to a stable and well-functioning office when starting your working life as an engineer - When you start your professional life after spending a few years at school, I know from my own experience how important it is to work with stable and experienced colleagues early on. But it is at least as important that the culture in the workplace is both open and learning.

At Alteco, learning continues in an industry that is in constant development and change. Oskar has started working on projects during his first weeks and we at Alteco look forward to being part of his continued career.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions! Oskar is based in our new office in Jokkmokk and you can reach him at +46(0)766333229 or via oskar.ogren@altecosystem.se
