The project manager who is passionate about problem solving

What is your background and how did it lead to your current position?
- In my previous jobs, I have worked in the manufacturing, contracting and consulting industries, which means that this role fits me perfectly.

What motivates you?
- I am motivated by solving our customers' technical problems on a slightly broader level, i.e. I am driven to achieve results by collaborating and creating understanding between technical areas, suppliers, clients and engineers. Through this type of collaboration, effective and robust technical solutions can be achieved from both a market and technical perspective.

- But generally when it comes to working on projects, it's all about people at its core. Over the years, I've developed my leadership skills and maybe even become quite good at it, even though it's not my "main motivator."

What are the biggest challenges with your work?

- As a project manager, you have to be a master at sifting through information. What is relevant and what is not? What is the core of all the information that needs to be processed? I would say this is my biggest challenge.

What are you working on right now?

- Most of my time is currently spent on one of LKAB's restructuring projects. We see that a lot is going on up here in the North and it will probably be a "tug of war" for the few project managers and engineers that are up here.
