The designer who thinks outside the box

What is your background and how did it lead to your current position?

- I have a number of years in industry in both the manufacture and construction of steel and machine structures. Most of the time, the larger organizations I have worked in have ultimately been about close relationships between consultant and client. To work in a place where that principle is the very basic idea felt right.

What motivates you?

- I like combining innovative thinking with proven methods. The combination of thinking both inside and outside the box and then being able to present a good solution that the customer feels confident in.

What are the biggest challenges with your work?

- All problems can be solved. But developing a solution that is as timely and cost-effective as possible, for the entire chain from design to operation, is the big challenge.
